CAREER HISTORY:
Deepika Nath is the Managing
Director and founder of Indica
Consulting where her focus is
on bridging strategy and organizational
and leadership development to
bring about growth and lasting
transformation. She is a trusted
advisor and leadership coach to
senior executives and women leaders
who are seeking to define an authentic
and effective leadership style.
She has 15 years of strategy
and organizational consulting.
Her clients rank amongst the leaders
in the healthcare industry including
Fortune 100 pharmaceutical organizations,
biotechnology companies and pre-eminent
academic and community healthcare
organizations in the US and Canada.
The early part of her consulting
career was spent with leading
consulting organizations including
the Boston Consulting Group and
Ernst & Young’s healthcare
practice (now part of Accenture).
Prior to embarking on a consulting
career, she was an Associate Professor
(tenure granted 1994) at the Schulich
School of Business, York University
in Toronto. She earned her B.A.
with Honors from St. Stephen's
College (Delhi University) in
Mathematics. She has her MBA from
the Indian Institute of Management
(Bangalore) and PhD in Management,
from the University of Illinois
(Urbana-Champaign) and her MA
in Organizational Development
from Fielding Graduate University
in Santa Barbara, CA.
THOUGHT LEADERSHIP:
Her current interests focus on
leadership issues including intuitive
and authentic leadership and mentoring,
and women’s career development.
She has written articles on coaching
women leaders to develop their
voice and leadership. Her research
on gender issues in management
has been published in Women
in Management Review.

industry (Canadian Biotech ’97:
Coming of Age, Ernst & Young
Thought Leadership Series)
has been quoted extensively in
media including the Globe and
