Sydney Frymire

Sydney Frymire has worked for twenty two years as a licensed clinical family therapist, coach and consultant . In her consulting practice, she has worked with the Montgomery County, Maryland g overnment serving an ethnically diverse population with 30% first generation Americans where English is a second language. In 1998, Sydney launched her own complimentary private coaching and consulting business working both with individuals and as a  certified family therapist (www.thetrekoflife.com).

She has particular expertise working with immigrant Asian Americans, Continental Africans, and Latin Americans.  In her coaching and consulting roles  within Montgomery County government , her work is primarily focused on women different countries who are small business owners and teachers.

In addition to her work with international clients in the United States, Sydney has extensive international experience working with the Peace Corps Staff in Tunisia. In 2005 she went to Ukraine with Peace Corps for cross-cultural training and language training. She is a Certified Life Coach with The Institute for Life Coach Training and a Founding Board Member of Coaching the Global Village.

Sydney had held leadership roles in her u nion for the past 18 years resolving labor conflict and in negotiations. She also has worked internally with the union to resolve workplace conflicts and won an award for the Employee Representative of the Year in 2004.
